At the same time we are required to comply with our own risk assesments and the strict policies of Trading Standards, The Environment Agency, Local Government and of course the land owner.
We take our position and your safety very seriously and will not tollerate the breaking of our rules.
Please abide by our car boot sale rules at all times.

Set in lovely countryside surroundings the Rusper Car Boot Sale is not just a mecca for car boot enthusiasts. Our rural loaction on the sussex surrey border is home to a variery of wildlife during the rest of the week.
All STALL HOLDERS must take unwanted items away. There are NO facilities for leaving items at our event. There is a local recycling facility at the Hop Oast Round About on the A24 at Horsham which is open to 7pm from April - September. This is only about four miles from our car boot sale.

The Sussex Surrey car boot is regulary attended by our friends from Trading Standards and the Environment agency. The recent rise in counterfeit goods into the UK means that these illegal and potentially dangerous counterfeits are turning up at Car Boot Sales. To help deter offenders at our event we employ an undercover security agent who is in direct contact with Horsham police.
If you see or are offered counterfeit goods or 'bootleg' items such as cigarettes or alcohol then please act responsibly and report it immediatley to a car boot sale marshal.
We will take all necessary steps to have the offender arrested on site.
The whole team at Rusper endevour to be as vigilant as possible and with the ongoing help of the public we will continue to deter criminals from our relaxed and friendly car boot sale.
If you are unsure that the goods you are selling are suitable or legal at a car boot sale then please call or email us.
All car boot sellers should be aware that car boot sale venues now regulary attract interest from HM Customs and Excise, Police and Fraud Squads.
