Supporting Charities and Fundraisers
'Whilst the Rusper Car Boot Sale is not a charity event we do have a commitment to help support charity and fundraising organistations within the Sussex and Surrey area.'
DISCOUNTED PITCHES
Each week during our season we provide free and heavily discounted stall areas for both local and national charities and local fundraisers. We have regular pitches for people fundraising on behalf of the Alzheimers Society and Sussex Air Ambulance. Last year we provided a total of 121 free pitches during the season with some very diverse but equally deserving fundraisers choosing to raise money at our event.
JUST GIVING
Last June we expanded our own donations to St. Catherines Hospice in Crawley, The Springboard Project in Horsham and the Brigitte Trust in Dorking by setting up justgiving pages on our webiste. Anybody wishing to prebook a pitch can do so by making a donation directly online to any one of these charities. We raised a further £152 for St. Catherines on the last sale in July.
LOCAL
The growing success of our event has meant that we are now in a position to repay the community that has been so kind and supportive of our car boot sale. We were delighted to be able to, and wish to continue to, donate to these important local fundraisers

Aug 1st - We were delighted to provide a free pitch and a £50 donation to the Horsham Sea Cadets fundraising day.
Milly's Journey
In March we were delighted to donte 2 'all season' free VIP stall holder passes for 2011, to be raffled in aid of Millys Journey. We hope to be able to further support the efforts of this amazing little girl and the incredible fund raising efforts of family and friends.
